We use our laptops on a near daily basis and keep them for longer these days; much as our cars. As a result, the batteries weaken over time after repeat use. Been using this battery as a replacement for my Asus X64 since the last cheap one bought on eBay stopped working 3 months in. Haven't experienced any shutdowns out of the blue since I installed it; so far so good.

I bought this for my brother who just received a refurbished laptop. The battery was an exact match for the old battery and was very easy to install within seconds. It increased the battery time for about 20 minutes on the old battery to about 2 hours on the new one. We have not had it long enough to determine the longevity of the battery.
