Replacing the battery was simple, once I gained access. I had to buy a precision screwdriver set, as the two that came with the battery proved useless for removing the back cover of my asus Pavilion laptop. The new battery is functioning as expected.

Changing any laptop battery is a pain in the but and a scary proposition for those that have never done it. Find a video on Youtube for your computer and go for it. This battery works way better than the old one, but have not put it to the test yet. Buy it if your puter battery is on its last leg and be careful opening your puter

This battery is an exact replacement for the original batteries we had in our asus Notebook laptops. Replacing them took a bit of careful work with precision tools, but was do-able with reasonable care. The result was amazing.
